Smile God Loves You
off set die-cut print, 22" circle
, edition of 200. original art was a mixed media piece. I painted a skull directlyon a card board circle smiley face. You can still see the blackdot's in the eye sockets from the way it was originally. I thenmounted "Smile, God Loves You" on the skulls forehead. It camefrom a flier put out by Osterhus Publishing House. On the back ofthese fliers it reads "But if you reject his love, given at agreat sacrifice at calvary, it would be better for you not to have been born". I mounted that part of the flier on the bottom ofthe piece.
