Inspired by the WW II posters of Rosie the Riveter. Theme continues combining the welder ( Arcwelder ) and the rolling pin ( Flour ). - background layering is of welding instructions and a recipe. no green ink was used, it's the blue ink with the yellow laid on top of it - D

Godflesh
7 color serigraph, 11 1/2 x 29 in, edition of 250 - I was shooting for a feel of angels being snagged like a shark would be in a net, eventually passing away and floating upwards. The lines are also pulling the figures hands up as well and he has to struggle to keep them down, struggle from being drawn in. This piece's soundtrack would be wind chimes in a slight breeze. - D

Jesus Lizard

The record they were touring was "Shot" which feature one of those beetle's on the cover. David signed one of these for me and he put a balloon dialog box above his head saying " All right girls, don't horn doggle me". - D
