all right, me and jose just got home from the book signing in detroit, i want to thank the crew at 323east gallery for hosting it, you guys rule. i also want to thank everyone for coming out, you guys are the greatest. i always love doing stuff in detroit, i've done 3 solo shows at the legendary c-pop gallery along with a book signing there and various group shows (see all exhibits, past present, and future HERE). i love detroit, it's my second favorite city....anyway, back to the signing, a bunch of folks showed up with my work tattooed on them, i got three of those folks pictures and will post them all during the next few days. this guy had both arms done, and had me sign my name so he could get that tattooed as well...pretty cool, you guys are something else.

ok, tomorrow is my book signing in detroit, i love detroit, it's my second favorite city. the event is at 323East Gallery in royal oak and runs 6 to 8pm. that's just two hours folks so get there on time. in addition to the books (black line, white lie & i'm bringing a few please god save us) i'll have prints and some originals. along with those we'll have a special extremely limited run print of my "ground piece" pictured below, there's only 50. if you can't make the opening you can contact the gallery and make arrangements to get one...but be quick about it, there aren't many.

this is rachael, one of the greatest people ever, who was once known as "rachael strhess", who once worked for us. now she's living in chicago and working for goose island.

i have a piece in a group show in detroit tonight. the show is at 323 East Gallery and it's called "LYRIC 2012". all the pieces are 12" x 12" record cover size, and all the pieces are inspired by song lyrics. my piece is "ground", check it out HERE. bask, glenn barr and a gang of others are in it so it'll be quality work. i won't be there, but i will be there next week, the 27th, for a book signing.
