augusta's book signing last night at oddfellows was awesome. a big thanks to syd and his crew for putting on a great event. also thanks to the folks who made the long drive from atlanta....and a shout out to laura the art teacher, send me a picture of that drawing of you :)
tonight i'm at gallery twenty-two in charlotte nc, the signing is from 7 to 9pm, and as always jose will be there so come and say hi. here's a shot of him and his chair from last night.

ok, me and jose are heading out to the augusta red roof, we travel from red roof to red roof, (red roof, red roof, let jose come over). the signing went great here in jacksonville, thanks to nick, rob, and everyone else involved. tonight we're at oddfellows gallery, come and say hi.

ok, i have three things i put up on the site this morning. two are snap dragon / snapping turtle pieces and are in the original archive gallery. the other is a us rocker cover which features ed hall and is in the 1995 magazine gallery.

i'm gonna get started on my road trip to the southern book signings. the first is in jacksonville on wednesday. see all signings HERE.

anyone watch 60 minutes tonight with aerosmith? you know, i think it's great they've been around now for over 40 years and over came all their drug and alcohol issues...but, they just aren't the band i was so into in the 70's through early 80's. i mean, i was a HUGE aerosmith fan, saw them ten times by 1984 with the first show in 1978. one would think when one sobered up, they'd get better, the opposite happened with aerosmith. as far as i'm concerned they peaked musically with 'draw the line' in 1978. they cleaned up mid 80's and their music went from 'bad ass' to 'sell hits'. shame...at least they're sober.

i have a piece up in the original archive gallery that is for a group show in detroit curated by glenn barr. the show is called "lyric 2012" and all work is to be 12"x 12" and based on a song. my piece is called "ground" check it out HERE glenn barr is amazing, i've know glenn since the 90's and he IS detroit. i was talking with a pal of mine last week who is a detroiter. she wants a detroit tattoo but hasn't been able to find something she likes. my suggestion is to go with a glenn barr image. glenn's work is detroit without being the detroit stereotype.

there's also another us rocker cover up in the 1995 magazine covers gallery and two pieces in the original buy now gallery, which will be available soon.

soooo dennis kucinich was voted down for marcy kaptur yesterday. good going cuyahoga county democrats. you all are a bunch of weak ass idiots. you fail dennis and you failed yourself for a toledo idiot, i guess you idiots like your own. what are you thinking, it's dennis kucinich for christ sake, not marcy asshole who lives in a red county and city..no wait, it's toledo, more like a township. the problem with democrats, especially ohio democrats is they're spineless. i align with the cuyahoga democratic party and the others who step up around here that i can count on three fingers. one thing i gotta give the republicans, they have a spine....all be it a twisted scoliosis spine, it's a backbone none the less. good luck with marcy, you're gonna need it. i divorce myself from the democrats here. i'll vote in the election for obama, but i'll vote nothing here, assholes.

hey cuyahoga county, it's the election "super tuesday" day. you all may ask yourself why i care about a republican election day...well, we here in the greatest county in the world have dennis kucinich running against marcy kaptur. marcy is bad, bad, bad, dennis is the good guy...so all you democrats here get your ass out and deal with the sub human republicans and vote for dennis. if you're one of those republicans there is a cure, it's called 'tolerance'. while we're waiting for the clouds to part for you, there is only one choice in your ship of fools to vote for....and he is no fool. ohio republicans i urge you to vote ron paul. ok, i have to walk my dog and go vote...for dennis!
