Funeral March for Service Cuts: Monday, June 6, from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m.

Advocates for Budget Legislation Equality will be holding a Funeral March to mourn the services that will be lost if the State Budget passes in its current form. William M. Denihan, the CEO of the ADAMHS Board of Cuyahoga County, will be one of the featured speakers. He will provide a “eulogy” marking the loss of behavioral health services. Other speakers will mourn lost services to children and cuts to education, police and fire.
The event is being held on Monday, June 6 and will start at 4:00 p.m., with a procession from 1380 East 6th Street to the Free Stamp at East 9th and Lakeside, where the funeral will begin at 4:30 p.m. The event will wrap-up by 5:30 p.m.
