so on jose's walk home today from public square we came across a woman who works somewhere on east 9th and euclid. she see's me with jose and asks me if i want a cat. i ask why and she tells me someone dumped one and it's backed into a corner of an empty store front on east 12th. at that moment i heard it's meow echo from her spot down the street, and euclid is pretty loud right there, buses, trucks, all sorts of people, and a ton of cars. so being the sucker i am i go check her out, and yeah, there she was, all hunched up in a corner shivering, trying to get as far away from the traffic as she could, which wasn't very far. i look her over, she's under a year old, calico, clean, no flea dirt so she must have just been abandoned, healthy, and very friendly. jose seemed to tolerate her ok so i wrapped her up in my hoodie and brought her home. i already have a cat, banjo, and he's not too happy with this turn of events, especially the part where she eats his food. so......i really would rather not take her to the shelter where she might get put down, if anyone would be kind enough to take her in she and i would be very grateful.

hey, sorry for the lack of updates....life has been a little uneventful as of late so i haven't wanted to bore you all.

here's something fun, i may be doing a radio show on WCSB here in cleveland with john callahan. the format will cover the type of music i was booking when i was the talent buyer for the euclid tavern (jesus lizard, helmet, melvins, cop shoot cop, etc). i was there from 1989 to 1995, so the music we'll cover will be from that time frame, give or take a few years. if it happens, the first show will be this friday night, i'll have more on this before then.

other than that it's been low key, one of my canister filters on my big fish tank has started to leak, which sucks, looks like i may have to replace that...anyone one have a good canister filter? walked jose yesterday with the browns fans going to the game like i did in the september 19th update but we didn't see any scalpers, and that's about all i can think to write....maybe something cool will happen this week.
