i found this while diggin' (see yesterday's update). this is a picture, or whats left of a picture of me and mike hurley standing in line to pick larry fuckin' webber's nose before an exciter show at the old peabodys' downunder. i'm sooooo baby faced, it's pretty funny, i had to be in my early to mid twenty's, and the show must have been in the mid 80's.

yesterday, i was diggin' through some fliers i did for shows i was booking at the euc in the 1990's. i came across a bunch that are typical derek hess non drawn fliers. i couldn't draw all of them, yet still needed to promote. this is a poster children one from may 28th, 1992. what a great band the poster children were, zip gun was pretty great as well.

and here's my scheduling book from 1992 with the poster children show, this is how i kept track of things.

i've been working in a few different directions right now, mainly the playboy stuff.....

and the fish / WWII airplanes....

both of these two ideas i'm going to be expanding on, maybe i'll figure out a way to combine them into one focused, playboy-ic, sunfish-ic, death from above direction......well i doubt that i can pull that off, but i'm sure i'll give it a shot.

i'll be putting up a new contest this week, stay tuned.

...for a fish tank with set up. looking for over 20 gallons, must be clean, have hood / lid, stand, working filtration system (canister would be best) . depending on what you have, i'll make it worth your while, i might even find some sold out prints for this....like maybe this one ;)
