bird pieces / art shows / isis
posted Friday, April 24 2009
i've put up two new pieces inspired by that dead yellow bird ( see Thursday, March 12 update) one is called "DAS BOOT" and the other is "BIRD SONG", both are in the
ORIGINALS ARCHIVE GALLERY. bird song will also be the image for the isis poster i'm working on.
das boot will be in the group show at
C-POP in detroit which opens saturday may 2nd. sorry to say that this will be the last opening at c-pop ( see Thursday, April 09 update).
i won't be at the detroit show unfortunately because i'll be in the dominican republic. i have a solo art show down there on april 29th and i won't make it back home in time. the dominican republic thing is going to be pretty cool, on the day of the show, i'm doing a presentation at
CAROL MORGAN SCHOOL, which is a high school, that will be first thing in the morning, then through out the day i'll be meeting with a few classes to talk more art. then that night, my opening will be at
Museo de las Casas Reales, Zona Colonia the opening will be open to the public. here's the the place
and here's all the opening info...
